How You Can Juice for Weight Loss

How You Can Juice for Weight Loss...

The Secret to weightless is juicing! and its easier than you think.

It really doesn't take much to get rid of that extra weight when you consider the effort that is involved to do so. I know I lost an easy 8 lbs with 2 weeks of juicing. Juicing is a great way to get the proper nutrients that support your body's own ability to burn fat and get rid of those extra pounds and it will help keep you looking and feeling healthy. No fad diet is going to do you any long term benefit or improve your wellbeing like juicing fresh organic fruits and vegetables. I have had a few friends suffer heart attacks attempting to lose weight by increasing their protein intake with animal fats and other wacky restrictions in their diets. Others that tried these diets lost weight temporarily but soon gain it back and looked very unhealthy during the process and after. Some lost their hair, their skin looked pale and their energy levels did not improve due to these crazy fad diets.

I am going to give you a challenge. Dust off that juicer you have at the back of kitchen cabinet or if you don't have one, you can purchase a great masticating juicer for as little as $200.00 (This investment will save you thousands in future medical costs).  My challenge is this... you will juice these two recipes:

juice recipe 1

  • 3 carrots and
  • 1 granny smith apple

once a day. In the morning is great. fills you up and gives you tons of energy. you may even like to add a little ginger to it.

juice recipe 2

  • 1 granny smith apple,
  • 1 lemon,
  • a piece of ginger,
  • 1/2 fennel bulb,
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • a handful of mint
  • 2 kale leaves

at another time in the day, maybe when you get home from work.

Do this for 7 days. It only takes a few minutes, it takes as much time as it does or less than to prepare that damaging breakfast such as eggs and bacon. You will find that this juice will actually fill you up. I usually have a bowl of oatmeal as well sometimes. If you want the full benefits of this for weight loss, refrain from consuming any animal fats (no fish, chicken, pork or beef), no dairy, and no processed foods. Just whole plant based foods, beans, whole grains and fruits and vegetables for at least the first four days. If you can do the week, give it a shot. You will find almost immediately that you will have more energy, feel better, your friends will be commenting soon about how much better and more radiant you look. you will soon have a overwhelming feeling of wellbeing.

I found this great website with many recipes for juicing for weight loss. I urge you to check it out. Juicing has helped many people lose unwanted pounds. Follow the recommended recipes when provided and don't think adding more is better. Whenever people overload their juice ingredients and get terrible tasting juices, they tend to quit juicing and I don't want to see that happen so follow the recipes. MAKE YOUR OWN ALMOND OR COCONUT MILK!

Make your own almond or coconut milk.

ALMOND MILK
   1lb raw organic almonds
1 tsp organic vanilla extract (or organic vanilla beans)

Directions:
Soak almonds for 8 hours or overnight in distilled or spring water in a bowl or jar. Drain water then rinse and discard water. If you are using a masticating juicer, place almond and fresh spring water in the juicer with a ladle. This should make great almond milk. Note that some juicers may require that you remove the skins with hot water prior to placing in the juicer.
If using a juicer like the Norwalk that has a separate press, you should placed soaked almonds in a blender such as a Vitamix and pulse blend. Then pour into a cloth bag that Norwalk sells and place in the press for the best almond milk you ever had.

The other option is to place soaked almond (after draining and rinsing)  with a ladle in a Vitamix and pulse blend, then pour into a sprout bag and strain the milk. Then add vanilla extract or organic raw honey. You can order bags from
http://www.norwalkjuicers.com  or purchase nut milk bags from a health store or online retailer. Other juicers great for almond or coconut milk are the hurom masticating juicer or the omega masticating juicer.

It has also been associated with low levels of essential fatty acids. Supplementing with a b-complex or extra b vitamins may be of benefit to you. You should have tests done to check if you have any deficiencies.

Foods For Your Well Being! - Garlic

GARLIC
Garlic has been used to prevent and cure illness for centuries. Garlic’s main ingredient is an oil called allicin. Research has shown allicin to be a powerful anti-coagulant that inhibits blood clotting and helps to break down clots and allows blood to flow which helps reducing blood pressure.  Garlic stops the production of cholesterol in the body and also helps eliminate cholesterol from the body.
Allicin has been known to be a very potent antibiotic, antibacterial and antifungi ingredient.  Raw Garlic has been known to relieve symptoms from colds and respiratory infections. It has also been used to fight off infections in the digestive system, helps balance bacteria in the gut and ward off intestinal parasites.  It helps protect the body from carcinogens and bacteria and helps healing, lower blood sugar, alleviates hypertension, and speeds healing. The Egyptian pyramid builders used garlic help give them strength. Garlic is really another wonder food that can be included in your juicing recipe too.

THE BEST CLEANSE...SHOULD I DO A CLEANSE?

So you want to do a cleanse...
What is cleansing? ... What will cleansing do for me?... Is it safe for me to Cleanse? Can I lose weight cleansing?... Why Cleanse?
All these questions and more come up whenever someone has heard about a wonderful cleanse and thinks they may want to try it. I spent many years working in the retail health industry and found most people wanted to do a cleanse mainly to lose weight and body fat, but there are far more benefits than just that. So, is it for you.? Well let us find out.
Cleansing is a great way to rid your body of toxic, poisonous waste from your body. The internal body cleanse became very popular (in my opinion) when the master cleanse was widely publicized in Hollywood, California by Beyonce Knowles, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie.
