AVOCADO
The avocado is packed with important nutrients and phytochemicals. It contains the powerful antioxidant glutathione that helps eliminate free radicals that are known to trigger the development of cancer and heart disease.
The phytochemicals in avocado also have been known to have strong antifungal properties which are very helpful in the treatment of internal and external yeast infections.
The avocado has been known to help the body stimulate the immune system, enhance antibody production, and aid in reducing blood pressure. Avocado have been known to also slow the effects of ageing by protecting the skin and maintaining hair, mucous membranes, sweat glands, nerves, muscles and bone marrow. Recent research has shown that avocados can enhance male fertility and improve sperm health.
Many have worried about the fat count in avocados, but this is unwarranted. Avocados contain good fats that fight fat. The fat in avocados helps reduce LDL cholesterol levels in the blood and helps stabilize blood sugar levels.
