SMOOTHIES!

GREEN KALE SMOOTHIE
·   1 frozen banana
·   2 cups kale
·   1 tablespoon spirulina
·   2 tablespoons chia seeds
·   1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
·   1 cup ice

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.


BEET IT SMOOTHIE
  1 beetroot
  4 carrots
  1/2 pineapple
  1/2 avocado
Directions: wash all ingredients and juice beets, carrots, pineapple. Remove shell and stone from avocado and place in blender.

LEMON BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE
·   1 cup coconut water
·   2 cups frozen blueberries
·   1 teaspoon lemon zest
·   2 tablespoons lemon juice
·   1 Bartlett pear, halved and cored
·   1 cup organic baby spinach

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Option 2 is Juice your lemon, pear and spinach and add the juice to the frozen blueberries and coconut water and lemon zest in a blender and blend.

APPLE FENNEL JUICE OR SMOOTHIE
·   2 apples
·   3 carrots
·   1/4 fennel bulb
·   1/2 inch piece of ginger
·   ice

Directions: Juice first four ingredients then Combine all ingredients in a blender  with ice and blend until smooth. You may choose just to blend all the ingredients without juicing. either way it tastes great.

GREEN SMOOTHIE
• 1 avocado (shell and stone removed)
• 1 frozen banana
• 1 cup frozen blueberries
• 1 handful of spinach leaves or kale leave (rib removed)
• ice

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. 

ANTIOXIDANT RICH SMOOTHIE
  4 cups organic baby spinach
  1 pomegranate juiced
  1/2 cup blueberries, frozen 
  1/2 cup strawberries, frozen 
  4 dates,
  2 tbls flaxseeds, ground 

Juice pomegranate then add juice and remaining ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.


TURBO CHARGE SMOOTHIE
  1/4 cucumber
  1 stick celery
  1/2 small pineapple
  handful of spinach leaves
  1/4 lime, peeled
  4 Golden delicious apples
  1/2 ripe avocado
  1 heaped teaspoon of Spirulina powder
  Small handful of ice

Instructions: Juice the cucumber, celery, pineapple, spinach, lime and apples. Place juice and Spirulina in a blender with avocado and ice and blend for 45 seconds. Pour into a glass and enjoy! As per usual everything should be as fresh and organic as possible.
Other Drinks

SPICED COFFEE
makes 1 pitcher
ingredients (organic if possible):

  1/2 tsp cinnamon
  1/2 tsp nutmeg
  1/2 tsp cardamom
  4 cups of organic coffee or herbal coffee
  10 dates
  2 cups of coconut milk, plain unsweetened

Directions:
Brew coffee with spices.
Blend coffee, coconut milk, dates and hemp powder in a blender until smooth.

ALMOND MILK
• 1lb raw organic almonds
• 1 tsp organic vanilla extract (or organic vanilla beans)

soak almonds for 8 hours or overnight. Drain water then add  3 cups of distilled or spring water. If you are using a masticating juicer, place almond and water in the juicer with a ladle. some juicers may require that you remove the skins with hot water. if using a juicer with a separate triturator and then press in a cloth bag is best for this. Other option is to place soaked almond with a ladle in a Vitamix with water and pulse blend, then pour into a sprout bag and strain the milk. Then add vanilla extract or organic raw honey.
