APPLES
Apples provide many nutrients and benefits to the body. Apples are also known to decrease the risk of cancer and heart disease. Apples are great for juicing as they add great taste to a drink and many health benefits and are a great detoxifier. Apples improve digestion, improve colon health, help with arthritis, gout, rheumatism and have been known to help promote weight loss. Apples are a gentle diuretic and lower levels of cholesterol in the blood. Raw apples have also been used to relieve constipation and cooked apples are used to help with diarrhea.
Knowing all of this, apples should be part of your daily diet and should be purchased organic and pesticide free. If organic is not possible, try buying apples from local farmers and peel the skin to reduce exposure to pesticides.
